Netflix Cleverly Burns James O’Keefe and Project Veritas on Twitter
The video streaming service Netflix on Monday posted a low-key dig at Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe after the Washington Post busted a woman trying to pull off a sting operation on the newspaper.
A woman affiliated with Project Veritas approached the Washington Post with a bogus story about Alabama Senate candidate Roy More, the Post reports. As the paper conducted its standard fact-checking of the woman’s story, it became clear that she was not telling the truth, according to the Post’s own account of the interactions.
O’Keefe’s Project Vertias is infamous for conducting right-wing sting operations intended to paint left-leaning organizations in a negative light.
Netflix on Monday subtly trolled the organization.
