We will issue multiple awards across the following categories:

- Trending Tech
- Accessories
- Smartphones
- Tablets
- Wearables
- Electric car technology
- Smarthome / IoT
Our coveted Best in Show award will be handed out to the most standout piece of technology spanning all categories.
Sister Site Awards
Our sister sites, DGiT and Sound Guys, will also be present at CES and will be issuing their own awards as well.
DGiT is a new publication that covers all of consumer electronics and tech culture for a mainstream audience. We cover everything from smart homes to green tech to autonomous vehicles, and we cut through the jargon of the tech industry to make what matters clear to the everyday consumer.
Sound Guys, on the other hand, is an audiophile’s haven. Their team has a keen ear to the world of headphones, earbuds, and speakers, and they’ve developed a reputation as a go-to resource on sound quality.
Nominations for these awards will be handled through Android Authority and will receive cross-promotion across the sites.

Our presence at CES last year was substantial, but we’ve grown significantly as a publication in the intervening year, so we expect even higher audience engagement and brand visibility. Last year’s coverage can be found over here, and you can see our previous Best of CES Awards over here.
Eligibility
Our approach to awards is fairly straightforward. We’re most interested in products that cater to consumers (as opposed to businesses) and they must make their formal debut at CES 2018.
Products are considered based on their degree of innovation and the potential impact that they will have for the average consumer. We’re interested in products that challenge the status quo and promise to change the technological landscape over the course of the next few years.
Although we accept multiple entries, we trust that brands will only submit products that they believe meet these challenging requirements.
Android Authority honors all embargoes and NDAs.
Because our winners will be announced on January 11th, it’s advantageous that we receive as many early entries for consideration as possible. Winners will receive special photo and video coverage, increasing product visibility on our network.
