THEN & NOW: The cast of 'Gilmore Girls' 17 years since it first premiered

But while the "Gilmore Girls" cast was full of many new faces, it was also graced by veterans. Much of the cast returned for the revival "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life."
Here's a look back at what the cast looked like when they first starred on the hit show and what they've been up to since the series premiered in 2000:
Alexis Bledel made her TV (and lead role) debut as Rory Gilmore.
The WBShe made her feature film debut in 2002 with "Tuck Everlasting" and starred in the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movies. She also had a small role on "Mad Men." She recently won an Emmy for her role on "The Handmaid's Tale."
