Taylor Swift's Mom Andrea Breaks Down Testifying in Sexual Assault Trial

Taylor Swift returned to court in Denver on Wednesday afternoon (August 9) to continue her groping case against radio host David Mueller.

While in court on Wednesday, the 27-year-old entertainer’s mom Andrea testified against Mueller in defense of her daughter.

“I knew what happened, I heard it from her, I heard it from my daughter’s mouth. He sexually assaulted her, right there, that guy,” An emotional Andrea said while pointing at Mueller via (E! News). “She couldn’t believe that after he grabbed her, that she thanked them for being there. It was just destroying her that she said that…as a parent it made me question why I taught her to be so polite in that moment.”

Andrea went on to explain that they did not report the situation to the police because they didn’t want this action to “define” Taylor‘s life.

“I was upset to the point where I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time,” Andrea continued. “We felt it was imperative to let his employers know what happened.”
