DeMario Jackson Admits Suicide 'Crossed His Mind' During 'Bachelor in Paradise' Scandal

DeMario Jackson made a really upsetting reveal in a new interview, admitting he was “suicidal, but not like the suicidal that you might think” after the events that transpired with Corinne Olympios during Bachelor in Paradise.

“I never thought, ‘Oh, I’m gonna kill myself,’ but it crossed my mind. I remember just talking to my mom, like, ‘My life’s over. Like, I don’t even want to live anymore.’ And she, like, lost it,” DeMario told ET. He continued that he started seeing a therapist and lost 25 pounds after everything went down.

If you didn’t know, DeMario and Corinne‘s hookup caused a production shut down that lead to a investigation into sexual assault. Producers found no evidence of assault and production continued without DeMario and Corinne.

Now, DeMario says he’s in a better place.

“Just stay strong. Don’t let the people who weren’t there alter your judgment. Don’t let the people who weren’t there get the best of you,” he continued. “Corinne‘s a lot like me, she’s extremely misunderstood. She has a personality that lights up a room, a smile that lights the room. She’s a smart girl, and when I say smart, I mean she knows how to play this reality wheel thing.”
