My wife is in menopause

God will bless you for your services to humanity through your health column. My wife is now in menopause. You know all that is associated with this medically. I want to know if it is medically safe to have s*x with her especially with the issue of dryness of the vagina. I am also afraid of Cervical Cancer. Please advise.

While it is true that Menopause can sometimes come with some medical challenges, the period is also a time of s*xual boom for some women especially in view of the absence of the fear of pregnancy. The issue of Vaginal dryness can be well handled by giving your wife a long and romantic foreplay which will ensure that she is well lubricated before s*x. Cervical cancer has nothing to do with menopause and is therefore nothing to be afraid of.
