Cristiano Ronaldo Suspended for Five Games After Pushing Ref
Cristiano Ronaldo will be sitting out the next five Real Madrid soccer games as he has been suspended following an incident at his latest match.
The 32-year-old soccer player pushed a referee during the Spanish Super Cup first-leg match on Sunday (August 13) at Camp Nou in Barcelona, Spain.
Ronaldo‘s actions were in response to being given a penalty for supposedly diving in the opponent Barcelona’s box. He was also given a yellow card for removing his shirt to celebrate scoring.
Real Madrid has ten days to appeal the ban.
