America Ferrera & Lin-Manuel Miranda Attend Imagen Awards 2017 in Beverly Hills

America Ferrera is a vision in green as she arrives at the Imagen Awards on Friday night (August 18) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 33-year-old Superstore actress was joined at the event by Lin-Manuel Miranda who was accompanied at the event by his family including mother Luz, father Luis, and sister Luz.

During the event honoring Latinos and their culture in film and television, Lin-Manuel and his family were recognized with the President’s Award.

“Things like Hamilton don’t happen alone,” Lin-Manuel said when accepting the award. “If your mother is a psychologist and your dad is in politics, you write Hamilton. That’s the recipe for that. It’s pretty simple.”
