Seth Meyers Says Trump Is 'Outright Lying' and 'Desperate' for Elusive Success
According to NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers, there is a single obstacle between President Donald Trump and a successful domestic agenda: "He has no idea what he’s talking about.”
Meyers explained how Trump resorted to "outright lying" in a "desperate" attempt to seem like he's successful.
One example the host highlighted is health care.
Trump claimed that one GOP senator was hospitalized, resulting in the botched health care attempt that was really just a hiccup on the road to total success.
Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) apparently wasn't even in the hospital. Cochran had to go on Twitter and inform the public that he was at home and recovering just fine.
Thanks for the well-wishes. I'm not hospitalized, but am recuperating at home in Mississippi and look forward to returning to work soon.

“The president spreads so many insane rumors, senators have to issue statements letting everyone know they’re OK,” Meyers chided. "This is the first presidency where you have to check in safe on Facebook.”
