Robert Downey Jr. Warns Fans of Impersonators Trying to Steal Money

Robert Downey Jr. is warning fans to not be fooled by people impersonating him.

The 52-year-old actor took to his Twitter to reveal that he has been made aware of scam artists trying to contact fans to steal money.

“It has come to my attention that one or more scam artists have taken to impersonating me online and asking some of you via private message or chat for ‘donations’ for various causes,’” he wrote.

Robert added, “I will never communicate via private chat platform. And I would never ask individual fans for money for any reason.”
