Rihanna Responds After Diplo Reveals Her Opinion of His Music

Rihanna is speaking out in response to Diplo‘s revelation that she thinks his music sounds like “a reggae song at an airport.”

The 38-year-old DJ and music producer opened up to GQ Style about how he’s tried to get Rihanna to work with him several times. “She’s like the one artist that we can’t ever get,” he said.

“I played her a song. And she was like, This sounds like a reggae song at an airport. [laughs] I was like, I’m gonna go kill myself,” he said.

Rihanna took to Instagram on Tuesday (August 8) after the interview went viral and said, “DutyFree 😂😂😂 My bad @diplo.”

Maybe one day we’ll get to hear a collaboration from the two music stars!
