Horrifying Side-by-Side Video Captures Houston Before and After Hurricane Harvey

Massive flooding has killed at least six people, and the storm continues to rage.

Using Google Street View, The New York Times released a horrifying video Sunday showing highways and roads in Houston, Texas, before and after Hurricane Harvey made landfall.

Thus far, six people have died in the massive flood, and the rains continue to fall. Reporters with local news outlets, as well as CNN, have joined in to help with rescues as 911 lines were jammed with pleas for help.

News also broke over the weekend that President Donald Trump had disbanded a 2015 order set by former President Barack Obama that aimed to make roads, bridges, dams, levees and other infrastructure more resilient to combat the impact of climate change. The objective of the order was to offset some of the damage caused by rising sea levels and persistent flooding. Houston would have been one of the main cities to receive this assistance.

Current predictions are that there could be as much as 15 inches more of rain in the coming days.

Here is a list of ways you can help the survivors of this tragic storm.
