Donald Trump 'Sad' to See Confederate Monuments Taken Down
Donald Trump took to Twitter this morning to make clear that he’s sad to see Confederate monuments taken down.
The 45th President of the United States is under fire for not immediately denouncing white supremacy and his press conference he gave which was heavily criticized.
“Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments. You can’t change history, but you can learn from it. Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson – who’s next, Washington, Jefferson? So foolish!,” he wrote.
