Anna Faris Talked About Loneliness a Week Before Split News
Just a matter of days before her split from husband Chris Pratt was announced, Anna Faris opened up about feeling lonely during the latest episode of her podcast.
The 40-year-old actress talked with musician Josh Ostrander on the July 31 episode of the podcast and she said she related to his feeling of “solitude.”
“I play a character on Mom, I play a character in movies, but I also play a public character,” Anna said. “There’s definitely a loneliness and, like, an internal element to being a performer. I feel like I have to laugh.”
“I play a public character,” she added. “I laugh loud sometimes — maybe too loud but it is a public character sometimes. Like, if I have a red carpet thing or whatever, which I’m never comfortable, but I’m always like, ‘I’m fine!’ And it never feels like me.”
Anna said that she also doesn’t ever look back at photos of herself on the red carpet.
