Rotimi Amaechi’s big surprise for Basorge

Many people are not aware that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, shares a bond with many artistes and entertainers in the country.

A few days ago, the former governor of Rivers State treated one of his friends to a surprise birthday party.

The friend, in person of comedian, Basorge Tariah was marking his 50th birthday when he was tricked into a classy dinner at the Villa Medici Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Basorge, who was oblivious of the plan ran into a crowd of friends and colleagues who were positioned to stage the surprise by the politician.

The merrymaking featured Lagos socialite, Debola Williams, Julius Agwu, Okey Bakassi and Basorge’s wife and children.
