Trump Staffers and Appointees Are Planning Mass Exodus Before 2018: Report

The departures could further stall an already dysfunctional administration.

According to a report from Reuters, a "mass exodus" from the administration of President Donald Trump is expected to soon be underway.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is widely reported to be leaving. But other rumored defectors include Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and economic adviser Gary Cohn.

White House spokesman Raj Shah said the potential staff changes were "pure speculation," which isn't exactly a denial

Reuters reports that more junior-level advisers may also head for the exits as the year comes to a close.

“You’re definitely going to see some people leave after tax cuts get done,” an adviser told Reuters.

Given the large number of existing vacancies in the Trump administration, staff resignation are expected to have a "big impact" on the White House.
