The LG V30 could come with a Daydream View VR Headset
Despite the LG V30 already being on sale in its home market of South Korea, we’ve still yet to see it hit store shelves in the United States. Details on a release date have been thin, but if a leaked promotion is any indication, we might be seeing the V30 launch in the next few weeks. Noted leaker Evan Blass took to Twitter today to let us in on the upcoming deal.
Not a bad LG V30 (US) promo [apparently this is the refreshed, unannounced Daydream View headset] http://pic.twitter.com/WJvBAgCQFY

Even though the leaked picture definitely states that the customers will get the NEW Daydream View VR Headset, that might not be the case. The verbiage and high MSRP ($144.95) seem to indicate it’ll be the refreshed headset, but without knowing the price of the included VR Content Package by Google, we can’t make any assumptions. Blass indicated in a follow-up tweet that it may indeed be the current iteration of the Daydream View headset. It’s important to note that the fine print states that the model and color of the headset are subject to change.
Whatever the case, we should know pretty soon. Details of the new Google Home, Daydream View, and Pixel devices leaked last week which means the release is getting pretty close. We expect Google will take the wraps off everything at its event on October 4. It’s hard for us to imagine that LG would continue to sell the V30 exclusively in South Korea for much longer as its list of competitors continues to grow. If we are getting the newest Daydream View with the V30, it could line up perfectly for a mid-October collaboration.
