T-Mobile ONE family plans now include free Netflix
If you’re on one of T-Mobile’s unlimited family plans, it’s your lucky day.
During its Un-carrier Next event earlier today, T-Mobile announced that all T-Mobile ONE family plans will include Netflix for free, starting September 12.
Are there any caveats? As long as you’re signed up for two or more voice lines at standard rates on a T-Mobile ONE family plan, you’re automatically eligible to take part in this promotion. T-Mobile will cover the cost of one Netflix Standard subscription ($9.99/month value), which lets you stream TV shows and movies on up to two devices at the same time. If you’d rather sign up for Netflix Premium, which lets you download to four devices simultaneously, T-Mobile will cover the cost, but you’ll have to pay the difference through your T-Mobile bill.
How to I sign up? To activate this promotion on your account, just open the T-Mobile app, visit MyT-Mobile.com, a retail store, or call customer service on or after September 12. If you’re a new customer, you’ll need to visit a T-Mobile store, go to T-Mobile.com, or call 1-800-TMobile to activate. Once the promotion is activated on your account, you’ll receive a URL to link your T-Mobile account with your Netflix account. It’s worth noting that if you’re an existing Netflix customer, it may take 1-2 Netflix billing cycles for your billing to transfer to your T-Mobile bill.
This isn’t the first time T-Mobile has made it easier for customers to stream Netflix. With the Un-carrier’s Binge On feature, T-Mobile customers are able to stream videos from over one hundred popular services without it counting against their data allotment for the month.
There’s a bit more fine print to dig through with this promotion, so head to the source link below for more details.
