Accidental Queens’ “Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story” hits the Play Store

Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story is now available on the Play Store. The follow-up to Accidental Queens’ “A Normal Lost Phone“, Laura’s Story uses the same game mechanics but tells a completely different story. When you boot up the game for the first time, you’re faced with reading through text messages, emails, and looking through pictures to find out what happened to Laura. You’ll need to pay close attention to everything because there are plenty security codes to crack which open up more of the phone.

If you’ve played A Normal Lost Phone, you’ll quickly feel at home with Laura’s Story. While the former’s story was… pretty far out there, the latter’s is a more believable scenario. In fact, that’s part of the power of the game. While it is entertaining, it’s also incredibly powerful. You can put yourself in the shoes of Laura, the game’s protagonist. You’ll quickly build empathy towards a person you’ve never met before while trying to understand her life.

We don’t want to get into too many spoilers here, but the game does touch on difficult topics. Deeper issues become apparent as the game goes on, so if you play games on your phone solely to escape reality and have a good time, this might not be the game for you. It does touch on some pretty serious stuff and you’re easily triggered by relationship issues, you may want to stay clear. It can feel pretty intense at times.

If you enjoyed A Normal Lost Phone, this is an immediate buy for you. At only $3.49, Laura’s Story feels more fleshed out, the mechanics are better, and the game takes longer to compete. I found it to be powerful and interesting from the minute I started until the minute the game ended.
