Vin Diesel & NBC Working to Reboot 'Miami Vice'!

Vin Diesel is teaming up with NBC to develop a reboot of the classic hit series Miami Vice!

The project is being headed by Shana Waterman, who now is head of television for Vin‘s One Race Television production company.

Sources have told THR that it was Vin’s idea to revive the classic series, which starred Don Johnson as James “Sonny” Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo Tubbs as two narcotics detectives. The series ran from 1984-1990 and enjoyed five seasons and over 100 episodes.
