TOWIE’s biggest star James “Arg” Argent announces he is abandoning the UK

TOWIE legend James Argent has decided to make a fresh start overseas.

The reality star, who has been with the show from the very start, has decided that he needs to calm his life down.

Earlier this year he spent time in rehab for various issues including booze and re-emerged looking fitter and healthier than ever.

And he has decided that next year he will leave the UK to start a new life by taking up a job at Elliot Wright’s bar in Spain.

“I’ve been offered a residency next year at Olivia’s, I accepted the offer straight away,” he told The Sun Online.

“I’m just in the process of finding finding a property in Spain and I’m going to be moving out there.

“The residency will be for the whole summer.”

“I’m so excited, it’s a fresh start.”

Meanwhile, Arg, who is about to star in the new series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, was spotted at the V Festival catching up with his ex Lydia Bright, who recently Tweeted how proud she was that he had been clean for six months.

“They stood chatting in the same crowd for 20 minutes and we’re laughing and joking together,” a spy told The Sun.

She said: “Arg is doing so well in his recovery and I’m so proud. I wish him all the best.”

Lydia and Arg split after an on-off relationship in May 2016.

She is now moving in with garage owner Lee Cronin but says she is keeping her relationship away from the limelight.

“I’m keeping it so out of the limelight this time, I want to keep it like this,” she said.

“I had such a public relationship before so I’ve decided I want this one to be really away from everything and low key.”
