Robert Pattinson Used to Go to Extreme Measures to Avoid Paparazzi

Robert Pattinson looked so handsome while out in the Big Apple!

The 31-year-old actor was spotted heading out of the Bowery Hotel on Wednesday afternoon (August 9) in New York City.

Robert added a little color to his wardrobe, donning an olive green tee and jacket.

In the latest issue of GQ, Robert opened up about how he usually dodges the paparazzi when he’s home in LA, which got to be unbearable during his Twilight days.

“People were like, ‘It’s fine, who cares? They’re just photos or whatever.’ They’ll say, ‘Just live your life.’ But that’s not life for me, if someone’s observing it,” Robert said.

He added that he used to go to extreme measures to evade them, including changing clothes in restaurants, ordering extra Ubers and keeping multiple cars around LA to use.

“As soon as I saw a tail, I would just disappear again. It worked after a while. They’re just like, ‘Oh, the guy is just a hassle,’” Robert explained.

He added, “There are ways to disappear, like, fairly easily. But you have to be living a quite strange life. It just involves effort, and most people can’t really be bothered to put the effort in.”
