“My album will be dropping very soon,” Rita said in response to a fan’s question. “I do want to say the beginning of next year but, hey, surprises do come, don’t they?”
That’s right, we can now expect Rita‘s second album to drop in early 2018.
Her previous studio album was released in 2012. Her second was supposed to be released by the end of 2016, which she then pushed into early 2017, late 2017, and now early 2018.
During the Q&A, Rita also revealed some of the artists who have worked with her in the recording studio for her upcoming album, including Chris Martin, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and more.
She also opened up about world tour news, her inspirations, and an unfortunate run-in she had with a sea urchin! Watch below.
