President Trump Condemns 'All That Hate Stands For' Amid White Supremacist Rallies

President Trump has finally spoken out to condemn the violence that has occurred at white supremacist rallies in Virginia.

The President of the United States was criticized on social media on Saturday morning (August 12) for his silence and his wife Melania Trump even spoke out before he did.

“We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!” Trump wrote.

People criticized the tweet for not actually calling out white supremacy or even mentioning Charlottesville in the tweet.

Former President Bill Clinton also sent out a tweet this morning that said, “Even as we protect free speech and assembly, we must condemn hatred, violence and white supremacy. #Charlottesville.”
