Lauren Goodger’s drastic hair makeover amid rumours Joey Morrison romance is over

Lauren Goodger has revamped her image amid rumours she has called time on her romance with jailed lover Joey Morrison.

The TOWIE original, 30, swapped her dark brown locks for a fresh blonde look after spending six hours in the hairdresser’s chair on Saturday.

Sharing a photo of her makeover to Instagram, she told fans: “6 hours later and my new look has been finished. Love my hair so much now I’m a blonde.”

“I feel very sexy right now,” she added.

“Thank you guys can’t wait show it off!”

Lauren’s fans were quick to lavish her with plenty of compliments, saying the lighter locks suited her.

One wrote: “Looking gorgeous Lauren.”

Another said, “This hair colour looks amazing on you”, and a third added: “Wow love the colour and the style really suits you!”

Lauren’s makeover came two weeks after reports surfaced that her romance with Joey had come to an end.

A source told The Sun: “Lauren has told all her mates she is single – she said she has finished with Joey and that the relationship is over.

“It didn’t really come as a shock to anyone because people know it wasn’t exactly the perfect relationship for her to be in.”

A rep for Lauren responded to the reports by denying an official split, but admitting it “was not easy” for Lauren to be dating someone behind bars.

The spokesperson explained: “Lauren and Joey haven’t officially broken, but Lauren is questioning her relationship and having doubts.

“It’s not easy being with someone who is in prison, especially with all the scrutiny and speculation.

“She loves Joey deeply but she needs time to work out if this relationship has legs and whether it will all be worth it in the end.”

Lauren and Joey’s whole romance has been conducted while he’s been behind bars.

He’s been serving time in jail since 2009 after being convicted on charges including possession of a firearm, kidnapping, blackmail and actual bodily harm.

It’s believed his current release date is slated for sometime next year.

Lauren has spoken frequently about Joey in magazine interviews and extensively during an appearance on Channel 5’s In Therapy at the start of the year, where she admitted wanting a future and family with Joey.

She’s also been candid about not yet having sex with Joey.

In March, she told OK mag: “Joey is a good guy and he makes me feel really good about myself. We’re very happy together.

And she has said: “We’ve got to know each other on face value, we respect each other and love each other on face value.”
