Jodie Whittaker on 'Doctor Who' Casting Backlash: I 'Missed' the Bad Stuff

Jodie Whittaker, the actress just announced as the new Doctor Who, happily posed for fans while visiting the BBC studios on Monday (August 7) in London, England.

The 35-year-old actress faced a ton of backlash after being named the first female Doctor Who.

“I’ve missed a lot of the fun stuff, and probably the bad stuff because I am not on any type of social media and never have been,” Jodie said during her appearance.

Peter Capaldi, the current Doctor Who, will be stepping down from the role this December.
