The first trailer for Jennifer Lawrence‘s upcoming horror flick mother! has finally been revealed!

The psychological thriller, which was written and directed by her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, is sure to be intense based on the terrifying trailer.

The film follows a couple’s relationship, which is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home and disrupt their tranquil existence.

The film also stars Ed Harris, Javier Bardem and Michelle Pfeiffer.

mother! is set to hit theaters on September 15th.
