Jennifer Lawrence Acknowledges 'Passengers' Criticism: I'm Disappointed I Didn't Spot It

Jennifer Lawrence has broken her silence on her 2016 film Passengers with Chris Pratt, acknowledging what critics were saying about the movie’s flaws.

“I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it. I thought the script was beautiful—it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not embarrassed by it by any means. There was just stuff that I wished I’d looked into deeper before jumping on,” Jennifer told Vogue in her candid cover story.

The movie has a 31% on Rotten Tomatoes, and was largely criticized for the story line where Chris‘ character wakes Jennifer‘s character up from sleep, despite knowing that it was extremely selfish to do so as it was a death sentence for both of them.
