Erdogan tells Turks in Germany to vote against Merkel and allies

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrat Party and its allies were enemies of Turkey, and told Turkish voters in Germany not to vote for them in next month's election.

"I am calling on all my countrymen in Germany: the Christian Democrats, SDP, the Green Party are all enemies of Turkey. Support those political parties who are not enemies of Turkey," Erdogan said.
