Diplo Reveals Collaboration with Rihanna Could Still Happen!

A collaboration between Diplo and Rihanna could still be in the works, despite her thinking that his music sounds like “a reggae song at an airport.”

While making an appearance on The Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show at Z100 Studio on Tuesday (August 22) in New York City, the 38-year-old DJ and music producer brought up the GQ Style interview he did where he revealed he’s tried to get Rihanna to work with him several times.

“I had this interview I did last month for GQ and this Rihanna quote in it, it was really funny about my relationship with her in the studio. It was a small fragment of the interview and it became the whole interview for me,” Diplo told Elvis. “It became the headlines and eventually Rihanna Instagrammed the interview, and eventually we DMed each other on Twitter about a song. It’s all about a good connection, you never know what to expect.”
