*Coronation Street SPOILER: Robert arrested as Michelle goes missing

It looks more likely than ever that she’s jumped right from a frying pan and into a roasting hot fire, since getting involved with Robert Preston.

And Robert’s dark side becomes more of a ‘thing’ next week when Michelle goes actual missing. Um…is it only us not OKAY with that?

Luckily, no. Robert is also massively concerned about his girlfriend’s whereabouts. Good!

Robert’s heckles are raised when Mich heads into town, alone, and then stops answering his messages. Is he overreacting – or could something have happened?

Michelle’s disappearance shakes her new fella Robert, but his frantic messages leave him convinced that his old enemy, Rich, is behind it all.

Despite all the calls and messages, Michelle doesn’t open up, leaving Robert to believe Rich is involved.

Ignoring about a thousand calls and messages, Michelle remains cold, leading Robert to worry that there is more going on here than meets the eye.

Her disappearance comes after the Bistro is targeted again via threats of physical and psychological threats and intimidation.

Robert remains convinced that his frenemy, Rich, is behind all the threats, including a firebomb, as he finds more and more frantic messages on Michelle’s phone.

Even when the police tell him that Rich has an alibi and couldn’t have abducted Michelle, a sceptical Robert refuses to believe it and tracks him down in a fury.

In heated scenes, Robert gives Rich a severe beating outside his own home, warning that he’ll kill him if he finds out that he’s done anything to Michelle.

Later on, Robert’s actions have clearly backfired when the police arrive at Victoria Court to arrest him on suspicion of ABH.

Robert is later released on bail, but what on earth has happened to Michelle? And could the police be right when they continue to insist that Rich is not responsible?
