Confirmed: Andy Rubin’s Essential Phone will ship within 7 days

The Essential Phone is on its way (again). Andy Rubin’s company is now sending out emails to customers to state that the phone is ready and will ship within 7 days.

Folks can buy the handset outright for $699 from Essential.com (and through Best Buy and Amazon at a later date), or through finance company Affirm, with repayments coming in at $29.13 per month for 24 months. Device shipping is free and should take two-to-three days — once it officially begins shipping within the next week.

The Essential email says that those who’ve reserved the Essential 360 Camera will get a separate email regarding its availability when it’s ready to begin shipping, but right now we don’t know exactly when that will be.
