Chris Pratt Often Spoke About Being Away from Anna Faris

Chris Pratt has experienced a ton of success in recent years and it caused him to spend a lot of time away from his estranged wife Anna Faris, who he is getting a divorce from.

The 38-year-old actor has been open in the past about being away from his family and how Anna understood the need for him to travel for work.

“It doesn’t hurt that I’m with somebody who’s been, for longer than me, super recognizable and famous and working nonstop,” Chris told BuzzFeed in December 2016. “It’s a lot to ask somebody to understand, or expect somebody to understand, why you have to be away for so long. But she’s, like, ‘Dude, I get it, of course you have to go.’”

A couple years ago, Chris said how he and Anna were dedicating these years to work.

“These are the work years. The gravy years are to come,” Chris told ET in June 2015. “The way we work it out is we just take at least one moment every day to be present with one another. Whether or not we’re in the same room, or the same state, or even the same country, we check in, you know?”

There have been times when Anna joined Chris on his press tours around the world and he took to Instagram this past April to thank her for the support.

“Thank you for the support honey! You look so beautiful. These press tours can be such a whirlwind. I’m grateful to have you and the boy with me on this one,” he said.
