Avril Lavigne is joined by rumored boyfriend J.R. Rotem for dinner at Craig’s restaurant on Friday night (August 19) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 32-year-old singerwent rocker chic in a gray sweater and leather pants as she and the music producer enjoyed a quiet dinner date together.

Avril and J.R. have been spending lots of time together over the past few weeks.

“J.R. is a producer she’s been working with,” a source told E! News. “He’s respected in the industry. Lately, they’ve started hanging out socially and there’s definitely chemistry there. They’re both so passionate about music.”

“They’ve been out a few times now and things seem to be headed in a romantic direction,” the source added.
