Priyanka Chopra is developing a comedy series about a former Bollywood star with ABC, according to Variety.

The 34-year-old actress will serve as producer alongside Madhuri Dixit, who the show is loosely based on.

The untitled comedy is set to follow a former Bollywood star who moves to the suburbs of America with her bi-cultural family.

She tries to bring her colorful lifestyle to the dull town.

While Priyanka‘s show is still in development, ABC has picked up several shows to debut later this year including Alex Inc., The Crossing, Deception, For the People, and Splitting Up Together.
