Senate President Bukola Saraki, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State were among the dignitaries on ground to receive the remains of late elder statesman and Nigeria’s former permanent representative to the United Nations, Alhaji Maitama Sule at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.
Recall the diplomat known for his oratory prowess died in Cairo, Egypt on Monday, July 3, after he was flown there for medical treatment.

His body was flown from Abuja to the air force base in Kano.
Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, was also among the dignitaries at the Abuja airport.
