If we have to talk about the present commercial success of Dance Hall-Pop in Nigeria, names like Timaya, Harrysong and Kcee should occupy a VIP section in the story.

The trio have enjoyed huge financial breakthrough courtesy their Dance-Hall Pop kind of music. But then, it’s not a question of who is richer, this is about who is actually the Best Dancehall Pop artist amidst the three superstars.

Lets analyse them one of after the other below…

1. KCEE

Kcee who broke into limelight after winning Star Quest reality TV show with his partner Presh attracted more music lovers to his craft as a solo artiste after the release of his hit dancehall track, Limpopo under 5 Star Music.

He is now among one of the serial hit-makers in the industry with songs like Pull Over, Fine Face, Tender, Shin shine baby, and his most recent, We Go Party featuring Olamide among others.

It is safe to say Kcee is one of Nigeria’s best Artiste at the moment.

2. HARRYSONG

From Question Mark Entertainment, 5 Star Music to AlterPlate Records, Harrysong has proved himself has a dynamic music act who can explore different music genre including RNB, Highlife and Dancehall-Pop.

Having made the list of nominees in the Best Dancehall act category in the upcoming Nigeria Entertainment Awards, it is not an understatement to say that Harrysong is worth his salt as a Dancehall artist in Nigeria.

Harrysong is known for hit songs & explosive Banger kind of songs. I lie?

3. TIMAYA

Since he got shot into limelight in 2005, Timaya can now be best described as an artiste of many hits.

With 4 headies awards, 1 Nigeria music awards among other honours, Timaya has a good number of hit Dancehall tracks to his name. Sanko, Ukwu, Bang Bang, I like the way, Bow Down are some of his songs that will always raise the roof anytime anywhere.

For Me (Makinde):- I will jejely go for Harrysong. He’s one of the Most Talented Artiste as far as Nigeria Music industry is concerned today.

Ever since Harrysong came into limelight in 2011, he has been dishing our hits upon hits. Rumour has it that Harrysong writes 98% of Kcee‘s song 

Judging by his latest song Arabanko (Download HERE) which was released some weeks ago, No story, I go with Harrysong.
