Corrie’s Kym Marsh hits out at troll who’s impersonating her daughter Polly

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has been left angry and upset over online trolls impersonating her youngest daughter Polly once again.

The Michelle Connor actress recently discovered an account had been set up in her six-year-old’s name and whoever was behind it was using photos of the little girl.

She understandably wasn’t very happy about it, but has now found out that she’s been blocked by another account set up in Polly’s name, leaving her fuming over the lack of legal protection for incidents like this.

Writing on Twitter on Sunday night, Kym said: “The fake account of my 6!!! Year old @pollyconnor4 has BLOCKED me!!! You are using photos of my little girl you strange strange person!”

She continued to hit out at how nothing can be done about it and how unsettling the whole thing is.

“Something needs to be done about people making fake accounts on social media!! Why would ANYONE make a fake account of a 6 year old?? Weird.”

Fans immediately showing their support, with many revealing they’d reported the account to Twitter HQ.

It’s not the first time Kym has hit out over the trolls, and she also recently revealed she’d been the victim of a catfishing scam that went on for ten years.

She told Loose Women back in April that one man had been duped by the scammers into believing he’d been in a decade-long online romance with her.

Earlier this month she took a break from Twitter completely, writing in her OK! magazine column, she said: “When you take a break from the world of Twitter you realise it can take over your life a bit.

“You can become obsessed with reading what everyone’s up to or people’s opinions on this and that.

“Plus, most of the time you’ll see loads of dead nice comments but then you’ll see one nasty one and that’s all you focus on.”
