Bill Skarsgard Describes How People Reacted to Him Playing Pennywise the Clown

It star Bill Skarsgard is on the cover of Dazed‘s Autumn 2017 issue!

Here’s what the 26-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On taking on the role of Pennywise the Clown: “I had people coming up to me all the time being like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe you’re doing ‘It’! That movie just traumatised me.’”

On how he approached the role: “There’s this sense of enjoyment that this entity has while he is a clown – he’s getting off on it. I wanted to create something that is very unsettling in terms of its unpredictability.”
