Glen Campbell Dead - Legendary Country Singer Passes Away at 81
Country singer Glen Campbell has passed away at the age of 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, TMZ reports.
Glen died in a Nashville facility on Tuesday (August 8). Glen‘s diagnosis was documented in the 2014 documentary I’ll Be Me, which also focused on his farewell tour.
Glen released over 70 albums in his decades-long career and his hits include “Gentle on My Mind,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” “Country Boy,”"Rhinestone Cowboy,” and many more. He won multiple Grammys over the course of his career and was the CMA’s Entertainer of the Year award in 1968.
He is survived by his wife Kim Campbell and their eight children.
